Life Ahead
Who it’s for
Life Ahead is an adaptive and evolving independence initiative, contracted through DDA/DSHS to offer Community Engagement and group Respite services. Through collaboration with participants and their caregivers, we offer a safe, motivating social environment where adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities explore interests, practice social skills, and shape their own visions of independence.
Our Approach
Life Ahead is intentionally small and relationship-centered, allowing for deeper understanding of each participant and creating a safe, consistent, and supportive environment.
We recognize the need in our community and are committed to thoughtful growth, supporting more participants through group experiences that prioritize fit, meaningful relationships, and healthy group dynamics.
Looking Ahead
As Life Ahead grows, we are thoughtfully planning for what comes next. Our vision is to deepen opportunities for connection, skill-building, and community living, while continuing to prioritize small, relationship-centered experiences. Over time, this includes collaboration with like-minded providers and long-term hopes for a shared community space and community living opportunities.
